I paint my passion. I grew up in a paneled ranch house with orange shags rugs and a mod cone fireplace in the den where we all watched the Brady Bunch - loved that floating staircase!
My work blends my obsession with anything mid century modern, my love for using different materials, rich colors and textures, while mixing old with new.
Early training on the East coast supplemented by my many trips to California have influenced my style. I am also a Frank Lloyd Wright devotee. A recent excursion to Sarasota has inspired my latest creations.
All work is orginal, never to be duplicated. You deserve a unique, one of a kind abstract piece that will be the centerpiece of your room. I want you to smile and be moved every time you look at my art.
I use many different mediums, such as clay, acrylics, and glass frit. I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.
I enjoy traveling and reading in my spare time and many of my pieces are directly influenced by both.
I love mixing old and new, often times recycling old frames and using the frame as inspiration for my art.
There's nothing sweeter than to find that perfect piece of MCM furniture that makes your room! Fortunately I live in New Jersey - halfway between Philly/NYC/Connecticut and Delaware whereyou can find some amazing pieces. Check out that nightstand in the pic above - I'm still searching for a queen bed that will match!
